I thrifted designer sneakers at Goodwill for $13 – people say they’re ‘ugly’ but they’re my size and worth 100x more
A BARGAIN shopper had found a pair of high-end sneakers at the thrift and ran with them – to the checkout, at least.
They were having a bit of a Cinderella moment after the shoe also proved to be a perfect fit.
The sneaker style might not have been for everyone, but they were certainly worth more than what they had paid for them – a lot more.
Redditor 2Tesla3 was in disbelief over the designer deal.
“Louboutin spike sneakers from Goodwill for $13,” they said.
The blue leather sneakers with spike embellishments on the sides also featured the brand’s classic red sole.
The savvy shopper had saved over $1,000 on the buy.
A similar pair of Christian Louboutin Louis Allover Spikes High Top Sneaker can be found at Nordstrom for $1,345.
Described as being made in Italy, the pair featured a lace-up style and removable insole.
Others were also shocked by the score.
“How the hell did they miss those? Good find!” wrote one user.
“My thoughts exactly! Maybe they assumed they were fake? Either way, I’ll take it,” they replied.
“That’s a great find! Are they your size?” asked another curious Redditor.
“Thanks. Amazingly yes, but if I’m being honest with myself, I’ll never end up wearing them,” they responded.
“It takes a certain type of person to pull these off and that just ain’t me, lol,” they continued.
“They’re going to be that item you keep in your closet, pull out with full intention of wearing, put them on, immediately feel ridiculous and put them back in the closet. Repeat.”
They might have been at a deep discount, but they weren’t for everyone.

Yet another Redditor shared their own thrifting victory.
“That’s awesome. I bought a Louis Vuitton bag and it’s 100% authentic. And in the condition it’s in it retails for $1,100, so that was the best find ever at Goodwill,” they said.
