Gogglebox stars Dave and Shirley share snap of rarely-seen ‘hot son’ as they leave fans swooning
GOGGLEBOX favourites Dave and Shirley Griffiths had their fans swooning thanks to a snap of their rarely-seen son.
The married couple from Caerphilly in Wales have won legions of fans thanks to their years-long appearances on the hit Channel 4 series Gogglebox.
The reality TV stars have been leaving fans in stitches for years since they made their show debut in 2015 but have never been joined by any of their other family members like some of their co-stars.
Apart from their pet pooch, Dave and Shirley have opted to keep their relatives away from the Channel 4 spotlight.
It led their almost 200,000 Instagram followers to go into a frenzy when they spotted a rare photo of their son, Simon.
Dave and Shirley left their fans hot under the collar thanks to the cheeky shirtless snap with many quick to jump on how ‘hot’ their son was.
Heavily tattooed Simon posed for the camera as he donned nothing other than a pair of yellow shorts and a baseball cap as he flashed the flesh in the picture.
Commenting on his impressive body, Dave appeared to jokingly caption the snap: “Just like his farther ripped # gogglebox #dubai.”
Taking their chance, many of their fans were left pondering if handsome Simon was single and looking to date.
One fan said: “Is he single lol.”
Another excitedly shared: “Wow! ! ! He’s proper fit!”
“He’s hot,” decalred a third as a fourth added a slew of love-heart-eyed emoji’s before quipping: “Oh hello.”
Simon is one of two children born to Dave and Shirley with the couple also having their daughter Gemma.
Earlier this month, hunky Simon was showed in praise by his parents after he took part in the Newport marathon.
Dave and Shirley cheered him on along the route and shared video of Simon in action on Instagram.
They wrote: “Our son Simon running in the Newport marathon, go son he’s all in black 26miles in front of him good luck butt xxx.”
And when he crossed the finish line they proudly announced his time, writing: “Well done son 3hrs 46mins massively proud get in there xxx.”
Back in October, Simon completed the Cardiff Half Marathon and was once again cheered on by his parents.
