DPW searching for leak in water system in Greenwich

GREENWICH, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The Village of Greenwich Department of Public Works (DPW) announced that it is actively searching for a leak in its water system. The DPW asks system users to conserve as much water as possible until further notice.

The Greenwich splash pad is closed until further notice. Residents should also refrain from the following:

• Watering lawns
• Watering plants
• Washing cars
• Filling swimming pools
• Using water-intensive appliances

Anyone who notices a loss of water pressure should contact Superintendent Mike Smith at (518) 290-5794 immediately.
