Congress, INDIA bloc trying to undermine electoral process, alleges BJP; urges EC to take action

The BJP has accused the Congress and other members of the INDIA bloc, along with certain civil society groups, of attempting to undermine the integrity of India's electoral process. In a statement on Sunday, the BJP alleged that these groups were trying to incite violence and unrest during the counting of votes for the Lok Sabha polls on June 4. A delegation from the BJP, including Union ministers Nirmala Sitharaman and Piyush Goyal, met with the Election Commission to raise their concerns and urge the EC to take action against those responsible for these alleged attempts.
