Now that the dust has settled
A week since the P/O final and I've had time to reflect, I sincerely hope it's the last time I see firpo in a United shirt, he had a mare, wasn't the only one who failed to turn up though, Gnonto is another one who can go for me, despite a few on here claiming Marsch failed him and only they and Mancini knew of his true potential as an Italian international (laughable really ) he's not done enough for me and won't be too long before he throws another wobbly.
Summerville is another who failed to shine, although nobody can argue he's had a tremendous season.
Farke, I hope we keep him, my main gripe with him is his stubborness in not changing anything and the poor substitutions, now then, where have we seen that before !!
Anyway, I hope he stays and gets us up next year.
Red bull, hmmm, I really really hope it's the correct decision, my concern is like many others, what happens in the future !!
I don't see us rebranded "red bull Leeds" and tbh, even if it is 5 years down the line, they will hopefully have invested a lot by then and we'll be stable in the PL.
I don't see a red kit in the future either, there would be serious backlash, 3rd kit maybe to test the water !!
It will always be Leeds United for us and dirty Leeds to everybody else.
The ground, now then, the embarrassment that is ER, Leeds United aged decrepit ground, when will the 49ers and RB start to invest. I don't see it happening anytime soon, so we are stuck with 38,000 capacity when we ought to be going all out on a minimum 55,000 but preferably 60,000, not some souless shithole either, a proper state of the art stadium, and if the yanks know one thing, it's how to build stadia, let them get on with it.
I'd much prefer it to be still at ER, build on the fullerton car parks then drop the old one, job done.
I fully expect them to develop the existing one though over a period of time, probably 10 years
Maybe they look at alternative sites !!
Lets see what the summer brings regarding incoming / outgoing players and let DF work his magic.
I have us down to win the league next season. considering I had us about 8th at the start of this we haven't done too badly.
