Arunachal Pradesh Governor dissolves assembly

The dissolution of the seventh assembly in Arunachal Pradesh by Governor KT Parnaik has set the stage for the formation of the eighth assembly following the election results. According to a statement from the Raj Bhavan, the governor invoked Article 174 (2) (b) of the Constitution and approved the cabinet's recommendation to dissolve the outgoing assembly immediately.
