New Boeing contract with big raise brings firefighters back to work

SEATTLE, Washington: Following a three week lockout, Boeing firefighters have agreed to a new contract and will return to work.

The new contract calls for Boeing firefighters to receive a significant pay increase. The firefighters are expected to return to work this weekend.

The new contract will cover some 125 fire and emergency-service workers in the Seattle area. Their previous contract expired May 4.<
