Storms early Sunday, clearing for afternoon, then more storms tonight
What We’re Tracking
- Storms early
- Next system arriving late Sunday
- Dry back out by mid next week
A few storms have developed through the night that have moved in to our western counties and have started moving eastward. A couple have been on the severe side although most are weakening as they move through the area. We should dry things out by mid morning and start to warm up yet again for the afternoon.
Winds will begin to pick up at 15 to 20 mph throughout the day. We'll continue to see seasonable temperatures in the lowers 80s to wrap up the weekend with our next system arriving late tonight.
It's possible we hold on to off and rain chances through early Tuesday. That'll keep our temperatures in the low 80s for the start of the week before warming things up. By Wednesday, highs may start to approach 90° as we look to stay in the middle to upper 80s through the rest of the week.
