Report shows stubborn racial disparities in Lucas County housing market

A report by the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland concludes that sharply higher interest rates contributed to an overall decline in mortgage lending in 2022 and that the gap between mortgage denial rates for Black and white residents of Lucas County remained “stubbornly wide” in 2022.
