Ex-Sikkim CM Pawan Chamling loses Poklok Kamrang, Namcheybung assembly seats

Pawan Kumar Chamling, the former Chief Minister of Sikkim and leader of the Sikkim Democratic Front (SDF), suffered a defeat to Bhoj Raj Rai, the nominee of the Sikkim Krantikari Morcha (SKM), in the Poklok assembly seat by a margin of 3,063 votes, officials confirmed on Sunday. Rai garnered 8,037 votes, while Chamling received 4,974, according to officials.
