The couple reportedly wants to ensure that they will only receive a warm welcome this time, in contrast to the frosty reception during the Platinum Jubilee celebration.

Meghan Markle And Prince Harry Are Reportedly Not Going To Meet Any Royal Family Member

Royal commentator Victoria Arbiter spoke about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's return to the U.K. with Sunrise. According to her, it's "going to be a very carefully managed visit."There's certainly no expectations for Harry and Meghan to see any members of the royal family. The Queen and Prince Charles are up in Scotland for their summer vacation," Arbiter said.

She also mentioned the reports about the Prince of Wales inviting the royal couple to stay with him in Scotland while they are in the U.K. However, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex reportedly declined the open invitation. For him, the rejection of the invitation only "illustrates just how frosty this relationship still is."

She added that the most interesting part is that the Cambridges, who are staying in the Adelaide Cottage, are only hundreds of feet away from the Sussexes' official residence, Frogmore Cottage. However, there was also no indication that Prince William and Kate Middleton would be meeting Prince Harry and Markle.

Meghan Markle And Prince Harry Reportedly Sticks To Friendly Territory While In The UK

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are reportedly having a frosty relationship with the royal family member. Arbiter believes that it's the reason why the royal couple who stepped down from their royal duties in 2020 avoids his family.Many noticed that Prince Harry and Markle only attended two events during the Platinum Jubilee celebration in June. They also flew back to Los Angeles even before the four-day celebration wrapped up.

Royal biographer Christopher Andersen said he was surprised at how the Sussexes were "excluded" from balcony appearance.

"I thought that there would be an opportunity for [Harry] to show up there to show the solidarity [and] the future of the monarchy. … I'm sure they expected to have a warmer welcome than what they received," he told Us Weekly.

This time, the Sussexes are taking the reigns and are making sure that they will only receive a warm welcome. Arbiter said that they started by sticking to charities that they have worked with for years.

"I do think that Harry and Meghan have very carefully chosen the organizations that they are going to be interacting with," Arbiter said.

"As you mentioned, they'll be up in Manchester for the One Young World Summit, Meghan has been involved with them since 2014. They'll be in Dusseldorf for the Invictus Games, of course, Prince Harry's beloved organization. And then they'll be with the World Child Awards on Thursday, another of Harry's most favorite organizations. So, they've made sure to stay on friendly territory, and I think with those organizations, in particular, they'll be a warm welcome."Royal author Phil Dampier seemingly echoed the same sentiment. According to him, the Sussexes are sure to receive a warm reception from the charities who are at their side. However, it would be different if they met the majority of the public.

"If she met most members of the public in the UK she wouldn't get good reception, but on stage with an audience that tends to be on her side - or is inclined to support her - she could get away saying very little and being applauded for it," the author of Royally Suited: Harry and Meghan in Their Own Words told Mail Online.

Prince Harry and Markle will be attending several events in the UK. They will also fly to Dusseldorf, Germany, for the Invictus Games countdown.

"The true story is, they never reached out to the Cambridges," the source added.

Another source said that many have different opinions about the royal princes' relationship. However, it actually hasn't changed for years."Looking at [the coverage], you would be forgiven for thinking that certain family members have had a say in the matter. They have not," a senior palace source said.

A family friend shared that no one between the two took any action to improve their relationship. Both princes were reportedly waiting for something from each other.

"People are desperate for steps to be made but behind the scenes there hasn't been movement," the family friend said.

"What [Harry] is waiting for is accountability… Many lines were crossed by William. He was at the centre of a number of painful moments, be it the actions of his own staff or turning his back when support was needed. It was a dark time and one that, so far, William has been unprepared to unpack."

On the other hand, Prince William was also "still waiting" for an apology from his younger brother. The second in line to the throne was reportedly not happy with Prince Harry talking about their family issues in public.
