ATCEMS: One seriously injured after vehicle-bicycle crash in north Austin

One person suffered serious injuries after a vehicle-bicycle crash in north Austin on Saturday, Austin-Travis County EMS said on social media.

AUSTIN (KXAN) -- One person suffered serious injuries after a vehicle-bicycle crash in north Austin on Saturday, Austin-Travis County EMS said on social media.

Around 5:22 p.m., ATCEMS medics responded to East Rundberg Lane and the North Interstate 35 service road northbound. When they arrived on the scene, one adult person was struck by the vehicle.

That person was transported to Dell Seton Medical Center with "critical, life-threatening injuries," medics said.

It wasn't immediately clear what led to the crash, which remains under investigation. No other details were released Saturday.
