Travis Kelce Addresses Rumor He's Starring in 'Happy Gilmore 2,' Talks Acting Ambitions

Travis Kelce addressed a rumor about his nascent career in Hollywood.

While the 34-year-old NFL star is obviously focused on his job on the field, he is beginning to dip his toes into other projects.

He landed a role in a new Ryan Murphy show called Grotesquerie and will also host a new game show.

There’s even a rumor that he’s going to break into movies with a role in Adam Sandler‘s recently announced Happy Gilmore 2. Is that true? Travis weighed in on the rumor during a recent episode of his New Heights podcast.

At the moment, Travis implied that this is just a rumor.

“I didn’t even know there was a job opening for Happy Gilmore 2. But if there is, I’ll be a f-cking extra, you know? Anything you can do to just get around Happy Gilmore or an Adam Sandler film or set. Count me in,” he said, adding that he was “obviously” a fan of Adam.

However, he continued and played it coy about if anything is in the works.

“Who knows? Theories can come true. Theories can be true,” he said. “I might even be in the talking and no one knows about it, but I could also not be in the talking.”

Either way, he made it clear that he is looking to continue acting and has his eyes on movies.

“I’m looking for movie deals,” he said.
