- John Means, who just recently returned from Tommy John surgery, is slated to undergo TJ once again — as is Orioles right-hander Tyler Wells.
- Blue Jays right-hander Alek Manoah, who appeared on the verge of a comeback, is dealing with a UCL sprain and will be shut down indefinitely.
- Former Mariners first baseman Mike Ford has once again elected free agency.
- The Mets continue to revamp their roster, sending youngsters Christian Scott and Brett Baty down to Triple-A.
- Blue Jays Triple-A catcher Payton Henry was sent to the hospital after getting hit by a batter’s backswing in a game last night. Here’s to hoping for a speedy recovery!
