Redditor Lee2929 shared how two affordable products helped them combat the signs of aging.

“The best results I’ve had with treating my under-eye area is with a dab of The Ordinary’s Matrixyl 10% + HA Serum,” they said.

They explained how they followed this with another cheap buy – Cerave cream.

“Has made a tremendous difference,” they said.

Available at Sephora for $10.90, The Ordinary’s Matrixyl boasts a “peptide composition” to help fight wrinkles.

The item is said to offer a hyaluronic acid delivery system through two generations of matrixyl 3000 and matrixyl synthe’6.

For best results, they suggest applying just a few drops in both the morning and evening.

Their other favorite product, Cerave Skin Renewing Eye Cream, is currently on sale on Amazon for $10.40.

The item is described as being able to hydrate, firm, and brighten the skin area around the eyes.

Made with caffeine to help minimize puffiness, the product also claims to abolish the appearance of crow’s feet and fine lines with the inclusion of peptides.

They also explained how niacinamide helps to smoothen the skin.

And the Redditor had one more tip.

Just a tiny amount of Olay Regenerist Micro-Sculpting cream, which is currently on sale for $24.99 on the brand’s site, did the turning back-the-clock trick.

“My skin loves this stuff,” they said.

And that wasn’t all.

“Be sure to apply a thin layer of sunscreen, too,” they said.

Others shared their own go-to anti-aging favorites.

“I use the Timeless Coenzyme Q10 Serum and their Synthe’6 serum,” said one Redditor.

“I found Synthe’6 to really work well for me, but it does have a thicker texture and can absorb poorly on top of certain products like vitamin C, even after waiting,” they continued.

“I recently started using the Cosrx AHA/BHA toner and find Synthe’6 absorbs okay on top of that. It’s super hydrating.”

“I also got sold on peptides during lockdown lol,” said another user.

“They do amazing things for me – I am halfway through my Purito Centella Serum – unscented – and I love it,” they added.
