Indian elections: Why Varanasi was in the spotlight on the campaign trail?

Polls closed in India's marathon six-week general election on Saturday (June 1). As voting ended, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed his confidence at winning a third term. He himself was on the ballot this Saturday, running from his constituency, the Hindu holy city of Varanasi. FRANCE 24's Leela Jacinto gives us more analysis.
