Govt dismisses CRPF DIG Khajan Singh on sexual misconduct charges

The Union government dismissed CRPF DIG Khajan Singh from service over sexual misconduct charges filed by female personnel. The dismissal order, effective from May 31, followed two show-cause notices, approved by the home ministry and UPSC. Singh denied the allegations, but the CRPF probe found him guilty.
