Gamethread: White Sox at Brewers
Are you prepared for another sweep?
I’m not sure if you know this, but the White Sox have an issue with getting swept, at least in May. Sure, the Orioles and Yankees are good. But even the mediocre Blue Jays even took five of the last six games against this sad team.
So, what about the Brewers? Well! They are first in the National League Central at 33-23 (.589). Yes, that division is a tire fire, but the White Sox are singlehandedly trying to keep the AL Central just as bad, at 15-42 (.263) going into tonight’s game.
Ahead of the game, the White Sox made the following move (after dumping Bryan Ramos back to Charlotte yesterday).
Prior to tonight’s game at Milwaukee, the #WhiteSox have recalled infielder Lenyn Sosa from Class AAA Charlotte.

Meanwhile, worried about their future in baseball, relievers John Brebbia and Jordan Leasure picked up a job at the airport.

That leads us to tonight’s lineup. Erick Fedde, 4-1 with a 2.80 ERA, takes the mound tonight. Tommy Pham is also back, thank goodness. Then ... some other guys behind them.

The Brewers are sending Tobias Myers to the mound. Meyers had his MLB debut on April 23, so he’s still quite green. His record is 1-2 with a 4.43 ERA.
