Robot to remove melted nuclear fuel from Japan's Fukushima reactor

TOKYO, Japan: Japan's Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant operator will soon deploy a remote-controlled robot to retrieve bits of melted fuel debris from one of its damaged reactors.

This marks the first such attempt since the 2011 meltdown.
