Six commercial tenants have been announced for an upcoming apartment building at 563 New Scotland Avenue in Albany. Jankow Companies expects The Rise | Midtown Square to be completed in the fall.

ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Six commercial tenants have been announced for an upcoming apartment building at 563 New Scotland Avenue in Albany. Jankow Companies expects The Rise | Midtown Square to be completed in the fall.

The building is located across from St. Peters Hospital. After construction is completed, the property will have 188 apartments, underground parking garages, and retail spaces. Amenities will include a wellness area, fitness areas, a dog park, conference rooms, a rooftop deck, and more, according to Jankow Companies.

Confirmed retail tenants

  • Starbucks
  • US Postal Service
  • Bloom Boutique Bar & Eatery (from the owners of City Line Bar & Grill in Albany)
  • Bombshell Hair & Beauty Studio
  • Frank Gallo & Son Florist
  • Primo Hoagies

This would be the second Primo Hoagies in the Capital Region. The chain's first local location opened in Latham in February and is owned by Rocky Patel and his son Krish Patel, who also own Philly Bar & Lounge in Latham. The Patels are planning to open 10 PrimoHoagies locations across the Capital Region.
