Report: Spurs are leading the race to sign 23-year-old Premier League winger
According to The Sun, Tottenham Hotspur are now in the front of the queue to secure Callum Hudson-Odoi as the competition for the Nottingham Forest star intensifies.
Over the last week, multiple outlets (TEAMtalk and Guardian) have credited Tottenham with an interest in Hudson-Odoi.
It has been alleged that while the Lilywhites passed up on the chance to sign the winger last summer when he left Chelsea, they have now changed their mind and are keen to bring him to N17 after seeing how he has thrived at the City Ground.
Just a couple of days ago, journalist Matt Ford told Sky Sports News that as many as three Premier League sides have expressed an interest in the pacy wide-man, with one of those being a Champions League outfit.
Spurs are in the driver’s seat for Callum Hudson-Odoi
The same information has now been backed up by The Sun, who claim it is Tottenham who are leading the ‘three-way chase’ for Hudson-Odoi.
Forest are said to be ‘braced for a bidding war’ for the 23-year-old when the transfer window opens next month, with the Midlands club needing to sell some players to comply with PSR.
The publication adds that Ange Postecoglou sees the former Chelsea man as a ‘perfect fit’ for his Tottenham side and has urged the club’s hierarchy to secure his signature.

A move to Spurs would be quite attractive for Hudson-Odoi as the move would offer him the perfect platform to express himself in an attack-minded side while also offering him a chance to return to the capital city.
