‘It’s the same every year!’ rant Love Island fans as they spot ‘huge problem’ with new villa girls
LOVE Island fans have spotted a ‘huge problem’ with this series’ new female line-up.
This morning, ITV have been officially announcing the hopefuls who will be heading into the villa after The Sun exclusively revealed the full line-up yesterday.
Samantha Kenny was the first girl officially confirmed for Love Island 2024[/caption] Nicole Samuel was announced an hour later – but fans felt they were seeing double[/caption]But as the promotional snaps of the islanders landed, viewers of the hit ITV2 show complained that several of the girls looked so similar, they couldn’t tell them apart.
In particular, fans think the first two girls that were officially announced, Nicole Samuel and Samantha Kenny, look like copycat versions of each other.
When Nicole’s official snaps were unveiled an hour after Samantha’s, the comments section on Love Island’s instagram lit up with confused followers.
One wrote: “Ur telling me this isn’t the same girl u posted about an hour ago?”
A second added: “Hoping the next girly is going to be different.”
“Her and the first girl Samantha look like twins,” chipped in a third.
A fourth weighed in: “Why do they all look the same bro.”
A fifth added: “I have a huge problem telling them apart every time but this is crazy.”
Even former Dancing on Ice and X Factor star Jake Quickenden made a quip.
“Kinda looks like Samantha,” he commented, adding a crying laughing emoji.
Other eagle-eyed fans also claim Harri Blackmore, who was exclusively revealed to also be in the line-up by The Sun last night as also a dead ringer for Samantha and Nicole.
“They all have instagram face!” another commented.
Samantha from Liverpool, was the first girl to be officially announced by ITV after The Sun revealed the 2024 summer cast.
The make-up artist, 26, has promised to bring the heat to this summer’s series.
Sam is a make-up artists[/caption] Nicole works as an account manager[/caption]She said: “I think I will definitely bring some fire, I’m very opinionated and wear my heart on my sleeve.
“I’m really bubbly too so I’ll definitely have a laugh as well as bringing some scouse glamour.”
Sam is looking to “bag a cockney charmer she can bring back to Liverpool.”
Nicole, meanwhile, is the youngest girl in the mix this time around.
She is an account manager who is mates with last year’s islander, footballer Scott van-der-Sluis, who was in the villa last year.
As well as being a world champion dancer, part girl Nicole likes to show off her moves in the clubs.
“I’ve enjoyed being able to go on holiday with the girls and not having to worry about someone back home,” she says.
“All the girls are there texting in their room and I’m out till 4 in the morning living my best life.”
