‘Really busy’ – Fabrizio Romano makes exciting prediction about Spurs summer transfers
Fabrizio Romano has predicted on his YouTube channel (via CaughtOffisde) that Tottenham Hotspur are expected to be one of the busiest clubs in Europe this summer as they undertake a significant rebuild ahead of the 2024-25 season.
Ange Postecoglou has made it pretty clear over recent weeks that some significant changes would have to be made to the squad ahead of his second season in charge of Tottenham if the club wish to compete with the best sides in the Premier League (BBC Sport).
According to Romano, the Spurs boss will get his wish and will get a license to make sweeping changes to the squad this summer.
Tottenham are in for a busy summer of transfers
The journalist predicts that as many as ten first-team players are expected to exit Hotspur Way this summer including many of the players who have been loaned out this season, alongside the likes of Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and Emerson Royal.
Romano also adds that the Lilywhites will be ‘really busy’ in terms of incomings, with four or five new faces expected to arrive through the door.

It is quite clear that Postecoglou wants to sign a number six, a number eight and wants to add another top-class player to his attack.
The Australian also evidently wants more cover at centre-back and at full-back, which might be more tricky as not a lot of central defenders would be particularly keen on joining Spurs.
