The last time Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford were pictured together as they confirm shock split
EAMONN Holmes and Ruth Langsford are heading for a divorce – and haven’t been seen together for more than two years.
The couple announced via a spokesperson in a statement to The Sun on Sunday: “Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes have confirmed their marriage is over and they are in the process of divorcing.”

One of the most clear signs was neither of them posting with each other on social media, or appearing at events together in over two years.
Their last social media post where they were seen together was in July 2022, with Ruth and Eamonn playing out a skit to promote her Feeling Fabulous event.
Ruth is seen creating a checklist for everything she needs before the event, before Eamonn pops up and asks, “Do you think you’re forgetting something? Or some one? Like, me?”
“You want to come?” she asks, before adding, “I hadn’t really thought about it.”
“I think they’ll want to see me more than that Anton [Du Beke] and that Rylan [Clark],” he responds.
While this is the last time they were seen on camera together, in September 2023 they were still together, with Eamonn filming Ruth steaming her face and asking her “What are you doing?”
Ruth, who was under the weather, wrote alongside the clip: “So day 3 of antibiotics and the doctor told me to steam twice a day….I try to do this in peace but @eamonnholmes decided to watch and offer helpful advice this morning!”
In January that year, as Eamonn recovered from surgery, he was also heard off camera joking with Rylan who was trying out their newly installed Stairmaster chair.
Following the operation in October 2022, Eamonn suffered a horrific fall at his home, which left him with a fractured shoulder and off work at the beginning of 2023.
In a further poignant sign of their plans to stay close, earlier this month Eamonn, 64, reposted a snap on Instagram of he and Ruth in happier times.
A photographer had previously shared a picture of the couple, calling them, ‘The best in the business’.
The much-loved presenting duo are negotiating a divorce in news which will devastate their millions of fans.
Pals told how the couple drifted apart in recent months.
Their work commitments “took them in different directions”, sources said.
But the pair were determined to stay friends and “keep things amicable”.
