Will initiate process of holding assembly polls in J-K very soon: CEC Kumar

Encouraged by high voter turnout in Jammu and Kashmir during Lok Sabha polls, Chief Election Commissioner Rajiv Kumar plans to initiate assembly polls soon. He emphasized people's right to their own government and highlighted the strengthening of democracy through active participation. The upcoming elections will be significant post the Article 370 abrogation.
