Assam govt pays Rs 30 lakh for razing houses of 6 in 2022

Assam govt paid Rs 30 lakh compensation to six persons whose houses were demolished after a police station was vandalized following the custodial death of fish trader Safiul Islam in Nagaon. Safiul Islam's family is yet to receive compensation.
