Marvel might split Avengers: Secret Wars into two movies
Marvel is currently in the process of improving the quality of MCU movies and Disney Plus shows under the supervision of not just Kevin Feige but Disney's Bob Iger.
Since his return, Iger hinted that the MCU will see changes. Disney wanted to improve the quality of projects, reduce the overall output, and focus on characters that fans wanted to see, including the Avengers. More recently, Iger clarified Disney's strategy for the MCU.
We're looking at up to three Marvel movies and a couple of TV shows per year. He further hinted that the upcoming Avengers 5 and Avengers 6 movies are on track to premiere on their current dates.
We're already in the middle of Phase 5, and the absence of Avengers is a problem. It's actually somewhat of a plot hole until the MCU addresses the matter. Feige did say that the Avengers no longer exist in the MCU after Endgame, but that's something we also have to find out from the movies.
While Marvel might be going forward with the current plans for Kang Dynasty and Secret Wars, an insider claims that we might get an Avengers 7 movie after those two. Beware, some spoilers might follow below.
