Sensex, Nifty updates on May 24, 2024: BSE Sensex​ ended at 75,410.39, down by 7.65 pts or 0.01%, and ​Nifty​ at 22,957.10, down by 10.55 pts or 0.05%. After opening in the red on Friday, India’s equity benchmark NSE Nifty recovered to touch the crucial 23k-level for the first time and then the Benchmark Indices settled marginally lower during today’s session. UBS has upgraded rating on Vodafone Idea (VIL) from Neutral to Buy with a new price target of ₹18. The stock gained over 4% in the opening trade on the NSE.
