The mum of four is renowned for her family-friendly food content and money-saving tips and tricks.

This week, she created a range of delicious and nutritious recipes using a bargain groceries haul from Aldi – with all ingredients costing just £9.26.

And her yummy meals all centre around a 28p cupboard staple, the humble tin of baked beans.

From Veggie Bean Burgers to Bean Veg Loaded Chilli, the affordable and great tasting meals keep the whole family happy for less.

Casey’s versatile recipes were also simple enough that her kids were able to help in the kitchen.

Speaking after they sampled all five meals, Casey said: “We absolutely loved it.

“And I’ve got all four kids in the kitchen cooking all the recipes with me and we really did have a lovely time.

“All the recipes are so easy and simple to make.”

She added: “Half term can prove tricky for parents as it’s often a juggle between saving the pennies and keeping kids entertained.

“These recipes, all including just one store cupboard staple, offer tasty half term fun for all the family that won’t break the bank.”

And the best part? The baked bean-inspired recipes work out at just 46p per person, based on a family of four shopping at Aldi.

So it’s unsurprising that they’ve already proven popular with Casey’s clip racking up 260,000 views.

One social media user gushed: “If that’s not great value, I don’t know what is!”

A second wrote: “Love these recipes! They look so family friendly!”

Baked Bean Recipe Book

Here, Casey breaks down how to make each delicious recipe...

Bean Pie Surprise – fish fingers, one can of baked beans and potatoes

Start by cooking the fish fingers to perfection. Then, layer the beans and fish fingers in an oven dish.

Slice some potatoes and toss them in a little oil before placing them on top of the pie. Bake in the oven at 175 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes.

This delightful pie can be stored in the fridge for up to three days

Veggie Bean Burgers (makes 4) – half a courgette, half a carrot, baked beans, onion, burger rolls and half a bag of salad

Begin by grating the carrot, courgette and onion.

Cook them in a pan until softened. While the veggies are cooking, pop the burger rolls in the oven.

Drain the baked beans and add them to the vegetable mixture. Cook for an additional two minutes.

Once the rolls are beautifully toasted, transform them into breadcrumbs and add them to the mixture. Shape the mixture into burgers and lightly fry for seven minutes.

These delightful burgers can be refrigerated for up to three days.

Bean Veg Loaded Chilli – chilli mix, half a courgette, half a carrot, half an onion, tin of beans and rice

Grate the carrot, courgette and onion, and cook them in a pan until softened. Add the beans and cook for a further two minutes.

Then, incorporate the chilli mix and serve with rice.

Sausage and Bean Pie – half a pack of sausages, tin of beans, puff pastry and potatoes

Start by cooking the sausages according to the packaging instructions.

Then, place the cooked sausages, beans and mashed potatoes in an oven-safe dish.  Top it off with puff pastry and bake at 175 degrees for 20 to 23 minutes.

Enjoy this savoury pie, which can be stored in the fridge for three days.

Bean & Veg Loaded Jackets – 1 courgette, 1 carrot, 1 onion, tin of chopped tomatoes, tin of beans, potatoes and half a bag of salad

Grate the courgette, carrot and onion, and cook them until softened.

Add half a tin of chopped tomatoes and half a tin of beans.

Cook for an additional five minutes, then fill the mixture into jacket potatoes and serve with a side of salad.

“I’m sorry, but HOW did you make five recipes for under £10?” exclaimed another, accompanied by the mind blown emoji.

A fourth said: “WOW! Fantastic value as always from Aldi and these look so tasty too.

“Amazing how you can feed the fam nutritious meals you know they’ll love for so little.”

“They all look so yummy. What good value”, chimed in a fifth.

Meanwhile, a sixth added: “Ooh gonna give these a try, my little one loves beans.”
