My father is a hostage in Gaza. Palestinians are not my enemy

As we bleed and grieve, and in the case of families like my own – hang suspended between hope and despair for the fate of our loved ones, I sometimes want to shout that the self-congratulatory hatred of Israel by the far left is futile. What we need urgently instead is their support for Israelis and Palestinians working for justice and peace
