I was renovating my daughter’s bedroom and made a crazy discovery behind the WALL – people say it’s ‘so eerie’
A WOMAN was left stunned when she made an “eerie” discovery behind her daughter’s bedroom wall.
She explained that they had no idea there was anything behind the wall when they began remodelling the room inside their 100-year-old farmhouse.
She shared a closer look in videos on her TikTok page[/caption] As she revealed she had no idea it was there, behind the wall in her farmhouse[/caption]But when they began bashing into the wall, they had a big surprise waiting for them.
The mum took to TikTok to share the discovery, as she said: “So we’re remodeling or redoing my little daughter’s room and tearing the walls down and we find all of this!”
She then showed the bits and pieces that were inside the wall, including loads of toys, as she and her daughter – both of whom were wearing gloves – sifted through it.
And people were quick to comment on the video, with some insisting it was super scary.
“That’s so eerie to me!” one wrote.
“Anyone else get a spooky vibe?” another added.
“I feel like I’ve seen the beginning of this horror movie,” a third commented.
As someone else wrote: “What in the amityville horror…!?”
But others insisted they’d had similar hiding places for their toys and bits and pieces when they were kids.
“My room was like that as a kid,” one said.
“I had a hole in my wall from the door knob slamming against the wall and I filled it with small toys for years….
“I wonder if the new owners have found it yet!”
“I did this as a child. I was feeding my invisible monster that lived in my closet,” another laughed.
As a third wondered: “Maybe they had a ferret. I had a friend with one & it would take their things into the wall.”
In other videos, the woman went through in more detail what she’d found in the wall, including numerous photos and a load of kids’ toys.
“I didn’t save a lot of it because it was one, it was broken and two, it was a lot of junk – mainly pencils, pens, crayons things like that,” she said.
“Belts, clothes, a lot of watered up colouring paper, stuff like that.”
But she did save a few bits, including a baby doll with no arms or legs, a little bell, a bag of marbles, a whistle, a tin car and a lantern toy.
And lots of people in the comments insisted she’d done herself a disservice by throwing so many of the toys away.
“That tin toy car is worth 100-200$,” one person pointed out.
As another added: “You could have made an amazing long video with more of the items!
“Some of those toys will be worth a fortune now!”
“I’ve never been more frustrated,” a third raged.
“The way I’d had everything cleaned, separated & already researched,” someone else sighed.
“Why can’t things like this happen to me?”
