Jessica Biel Explains Why She & Justin Timberlake Moved Their Family to Nashville, Makes Rare Comments About Her Son, Silas
Jessica Biel provided some rare insight into her family with Justin Timberlake during a new interview.
While appearing on SiriusXM’s Let’s Talk Off Camera with Kelly Ripa, the 42-year-old actress and mom of two opened up about why the family made a conscious effort to spend less time in Los Angeles and New York City. They own homes in Nashville, Tennessee and in Montana now for a very specific reason.
She also reflected on the couple’s oldest son Silas, 9, growing up.

“We talk a lot about his body’s changing a lot and he’s experiencing that,” Jessica said about Silas. “He’s experiencing growing pains. He has a hard time sleeping. He’ll be waking up in the middle of the night. His legs hurt. His back hurts.”
She continued, saying, “He’s, you know, he looks different, right? He went from this little guy to this kind of more grownup kid and even Justin and I are like, ‘Wow, this kid is looking different all of a sudden.’ He’s just growing.”
In terms of the family’s big move, Jessica explained that she and Justin were trying to protect their sons from the paparazzi.
“You get hammered on the east coast, you kind of get hammered on the west coast. That’s why we don’t really live there anymore. It’s just trying to create some normalcy for these kids, and we want to share our family with our loved ones and friends,” she explained.
Just last month Jessica shared some rare photos of Silas and her younger son Phineas attending their dad’s concert. She also opened up about how Justin touring has been a challenge for the family.
