New Charm City Circulator route between Inner Harbor and Cherry Hill to start June 23
Baltimore City is adding a new free bus route to Cherry Hill.
Starting June 23, the Charm City Circulator’s Cherry Route will travel between the Inner Harbor and the Cherry Hill Light Rail Station with stops at Federal Hill, Riverside, McHenry Row, Baltimore Peninsula, Middle Branch Park and MedStar Harbor Hospital, the city said in a news release. The new route to the southwest Baltimore neighborhood will have a 20-minute frequency, the city said.
The city also said there will be changes to both ends of the Purple Route.
As the Cherry Route serves the Federal Hill neighborhood, the Purple Route will no longer travel south of Montgomery Street. On the north end of the route, service will be extended east on 33rd Street to Greenmount Avenue with new stops at MedStar Union Memorial Hospital and Giant Food, the city said.
