Marvel to Develop Disney+ Vision Series, Paul Bettany Will Reprise Role!
Marvel has a vision for Vision!
The company has tapped Star Trek: Picard executive producer Terry Matalas to develop a still-untitled Disney+ TV series set for 2026, according to Variety.
Paul Bettany will return to the role and Terry Matalas will serve as showrunner.

As we know, Vision died at the hands of Thanos back in 2018′s Avengers: Infinity War, but he came back in 2021′s WandaVision, first as a ghost created by Wanda, then rebuilt as an android until the two duked it out. Wanda’s Vision restored the ghost Vision’s memories, allowing her Vision to fade away.
The new show will take place after those events, as ghost Vision presumably explores his new purpose in life.
Marvel brought in the executive produer after his work running Season 3 of Star Trek: Picard.
An earlier version of a Vision series had been in development with WandaVision creator Jac Schaeffer, but he’s dedicating his time to spinoff Agatha All Along with Kathryn Hahn, premiering in September.
This will be Marvel’s first new live-action series pickup in almost two years.
