‘I’m off!’ Bargain Hunt fans fume as they boycott BBC show for string of ‘cobbled together’ episodes
BARGAIN Hunt viewers were unimpressed as the BBC show aired a special agricultural-themed episode.
The episode began with Christina Trevanion, 42, in a vegetable patch as she explained there would be a slight twist during Tuesday’s instalment.

She said: “Hello and welcome to a very special Bargain Hunt. Now you might wonder why I am digging the garden, well today’s show is all about antiques and collectables that you might find in a kitchen or garden.”
Uninterested fans soon took to social media to express their views, hitting out at the episode.
Slamming the programme, one wrote: “Oh FFS not another special again, that’s me I am off.”
A second viewer agreed, writing: “S**t!!… another cobbled together show… I’m off. See you tomorrow.”
Meanwhile, a third person chimed in: “Another special. A no from me then,” as a fourth penned: “Sorry, not even lovely Christina can save a ‘special’.”
Others picked up on the look-back episode that had merged a string of clips over the years into one.
An unhappy viewer pointed out: “I won’t be bothering today repeats bad enough but a hashed together special ffs.”
It comes as new faces were brought into the show, as Bargain Hunt received a mini-makeover.
With the Beeb deciding to shake up the popular daytime show, new antiques experts such as Roo Irvine, Danny Sebastian and Caroline Hawley have been brought in.
Meanwhile, Christina recently broke her social media silence after taking some time away from the show.
She wrote: “Apologies for being quiet on here recently, I find gardening a real tonic and it’s been quite a distraction this spring.
“Every day brings out a new old friend that I feared I’d killed last year.
“The garden is in its second year now and every day brings a new challenge.”
Bargain Hunt airs on BBC One at 12.15pm from Monday to Friday.
