MUM-OF-THREE Sam Faeirs has openly confessed she steers clear of using any form of contraception.

The TOWIE legend, 33, said she wasn’t taking ”anything” to prevent pregnancy and becoming a mum to another child with her partner Paul Knightley.

Chatting with her elder sister and fellow TV personality Billie Faeirs, 34, Sam said: ”I literally do not take anything right now, so I have to be so careful.”

Sharing her thoughts on their podcast, The Sam & Billie Show, the mum-of-three revealed that she refused to take the pill – and won’t in the future as well.

”I won’t take the pill again – ever,” she said, agreeing that everyone reacts to contraception differently.

Meanwhile, big sister Billie – mum to Nelly, nine, Arthur, six, and Margot, 17 months – told listeners that she had a coil fitted half a year ago.

”Contraception is such a personal thing, isn’t it?” Billie said, adding that the popular form of birth control has at times left her with ”uncomfortable” periods.

”I find that I have really heavy, bad month – and then I have an okay month.

”It does take a good year to balance out,” said Billie who had the coil fitted in after giving birth to her third tot, Margot.

”I just think it’s so difficult to give people advice – because loads of my friends have had the coil fitted and then had to have it taken out because it didn’t agree with them.”

Sam – whose tot Edward recently celebrated his second birthday in true style – echoed the sentiment, noting that nothing, in her eyes, guarantees you ”100 per cent” security.

”I think that if you get a good natural cycle app or something, so you’d know when you’re ovulating – but I just think nothing can be 100 per cent.”

The mum-of-three went on to joke: ”I don’t take anything and obviously, Edward is two now – and so far, so good.”

Opening up about motherhood

This is not the first time Sam – who is regularly mum-shamed by vicious trolls – has opened up about what it’s like to be a parent.

Earlier this year, in April, the 33-year-old TOWIE star took to Instagram to seek advice after Edward, back then one, had poked her in the eye.

Sharing a selfie where she was posing in chic Chanel sunglasses, Sam said: “New pain unlocked and never experience before.

“Edward poked me in my eyeball this morning…

What are period trackers and should you use them?

Period tracking apps, such as Clue, Cycles and Period Diary, offer insight into your monthly cycle and can help you get to know your body better. It also suggests when you’re likely to be most fertile.

However, as explained by the experts at Bodyform, people should remember ”that while period tracking apps can be helpful in many ways, they are never 100% accurate and therefore should only be used for making light decisions”.

”Because the human body is often unpredictable and everyone’s cycle is unique, a period tracker app can never tell you with 100% certainty which days you don’t have to worry about getting pregnant, for example.”

“This sounds dramatic but I’ve never had this kind of pain from an eye poke.

“It’s corneal abrasion. It’s so painful… like burns. Any tips. Sunglasses help slightly.”

Just before heading to bed, the mum-of-three updated her followers on how she was feeling and thanked for the support.

“I can’t believe how many of you have experience this too.

“I thought am I being over the top? But it’s been soo painful all day.

“Finally getting into bed & hoping when I wake up it’s eased off.

“I got drops, and I sprayed colloidal silver on them & rubbed some caster oil on too.”
