I’ve never said ‘dad’ more than when we’ve gone to the pub just us two

Holly Morridge

Not wanting people to get confused, she decided to create a hilarious sign for when she and her dad went out together.

While dining in the sun on holiday with a glass of prosecco, Holly whipped out an A4 sheet of paper.

It read: “HE IS MY DAD. NOT MY SUGAR DADDY.”

She added: “I’ve never said ‘dad’ more than when we’ve gone to the pub just us two.”

“I hope you all appreciate quite how awkward this is to film in a busy restaurant of the hotel was staying at for the next 4 days,” Holly continued.

Despite it being awkward, it seemed to have worked as no one came up to question them in the clip.

And it turns out plenty of young women have had similar experiences when out with their dads.

What is a sugar daddy and how does the relationship work?

A sugar daddy is a generous older man who spends lavishly on his mistress, girlfriend or boyfriend.

He’s often a businessman, who considers himself too busy for conventional dating – and isn’t short of a few bob.

A sugar baby, meanwhile, is normally an attractive younger woman who can’t afford her luxury lifestyle.

The couple will usually establish a financial agreement early on – as well as their boundaries, such as whether or not they’re considering a sexual relationship.

Some sugar babies ask for a monthly allowance, while other get ‘expenses’ in the form of glam holidays and shopping sprees.

While a growing number of sugar babies are university students, who turn to their ‘daddy’ to pay their fees.

“I was 17/18 and was in a resort kinda place me and my dad were like throwing a ball in the pool etc and when we got out this elderly couple asked how we met,” penned a third.

Meanwhile a fourth said: “No Holly I have this all the time with my dad! Not so much these days, but 10 years ago- was awful. Disturbed. Disgusting. Horrible.”

“When I was 21 my parents bought me a ring for my birthday. My dad and I went to go pick it up and the assistants thought he was my husband. Mortifying,” claimed a fifth.

Someone else added: “Someone thought my dad was the father of my unborn baby.”
