La Salle boys lax rolls past Columbia to Class B semifinal

TROY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The Class B boys lacrosse sectional playoffs got underway on Tuesday. The three-seed, La Salle, played host to the six-seed, Columbia.

The Cadets jumped out to a 3-0 lead after the first quarter. La Salle began the second quarter with two goals, starting the game on a 5-0 run. The Blue Devils rattled off two goals before the half to make it 5-2 at the break.

La Salle kept their foot on the gas in the second half, on their way to an 11-6 win. The Cadets will visit Bethlehem for the semifinals on Thursday at 7:00 PM.
