I’m married to a rockstar, it’s not as glam as it looks – he’s always late for date night & backstage life is so boring
WHEN you think of being a rockstar you assume the lifestyle will be drinking champagne backstage and throwing TVs out the window.
But according to one rockstar’s wife, it isn’t as glam or fun as it’s made out to be.
Eleanor Cora, who is married to British metal band Loathe’s bassist Feisal, took to social media to reveal what it’s really like.
She said: “Some things are not as cool as they seem, you have to be okay with uncertainty in the calendar, plans change last minute, dates get cancelled.
“Booking a holiday a year in advance is just a silly move – things are up in the air a lot that you have to be okay with that.”
Fortunately, Eleanor, who is currently expecting her first child is also an entertainer working as an actor, so her schedule is also hard to keep on top of and understands why plans change quickly.
She added that holidays can often be cut short as she may have an important audition or Feisal is called into the studio last minute.
The rockstar wife also added that her hubby was often late for date nights even when they are planned in advance, adding: “you can’t get angry at that, that’s just part past of the relationship.”
And that’s not all, she revealed their busy schedules meant they were either together constantly or apart for months at a time as he’ll be away touring – which she is finding particularly difficult at the moment as she is pregnant.
And when she does attend the concerts it’s not as glam as Hollywood make it seem.
“Backstage is just not always this glam, rock and roll thing that’s portrayed in movies,” she explained.
“It’s often a cramped room with not enough chairs, a lot of waiting around and sometimes it can be really, really, really boring.”
Despite the negatives, Eleanor says there are also some pros such as meeting her favourite bands from childhood including Busted and Paramore.
The clip which was posted to her TikTok account @eleanorcora has since gone viral with over 399k views and 24k likes.

Who are Loathe?
Loathe are an English heavy metal band formed in 2014 and have released three studion albums.
The band is made up of the members: lead vocalist Kadeem France, guitarist and second vocalist Erik Bickerstaffe, drummer Sean Radcliffe and bassist Feisal El-Khazragi.
The popular metal band are currently touring across the US and heading back to Europe in July.
