‘Off to Asda I go’ Shoppers are raving about bargain gardening tool which is the ‘best £2 they’ve spent’
ARE you fed up of pesky weeds ruining the sight of your lawn?
Well, there’s no need to spend hours on your hands and knees digging them up…because a £2 bargain buy from Asda could do the job in a matter of minutes.
That’s became a man named Gary Norman explained how he was in his local supermarket store when he spotted the handy ‘Hand Weeder.
In a clip shared to TikTok (@itsgarynorman), he addressed his social media followers and urged: “If you’ve got weeds in your lawn like me, you need to run to Asda immediately.”
Demonstrating how easy the bargain gadget works, he then starts to tackle the first sight of a weed in his garden.
Angling the end of the hand weeder into the soil, he explains that it needs to be twisted 360 degrees to pull the full root out.

Removing them in an instant with zero effort required, he enthuses: “Look at all them…took me two minutes! Incredible,” he enthuses.
Gary captioned the post: “The best £2 I have spent!”
Sharing his top tip on how to get the most out of the tool, he tells a social media user: “You’re supposed to twist 360 degrees and pull so the full root comes out.”
It wasn’t long before the post went viral, racking up a whopping 410k views and several comments from very impressed social media users.
“SOLD!! I’m off to Asda tomorrow!” wrote one.
A second penned: “OMG I’ve been looking for something like this.”
“Omg I so need one of these!” a third noted.
Meanwhile, a fourth who is delighted after snapping up the gadget herself enthused: “It’s fantastic!”
Another added: “Need! Wish I’d known about this at the weekend.”
And a further chimed in: “I got this the other week and it’s my fave gardening tool now.”
It turns out Gary isn’t the first person to rave about the bargain buy either.
Fabulous previously told how a woman named Amber also raved over the handy tool.
“Find the weed, get in there and use this and it just pulls it right out – look at that mate! Banging!” she urged.
Alongside the post, Amber penned: “Honestly this is the best weed tool I’ve ever found and its only £2!! Don’t walk RUN to @Asda.”
