DICK Strawbridge has sparked health concerns as he posted a family update ahead of his TV return.
The Escape to the Chateau star took to social media to share an update on his life with his fans.
The Escape to the Chataeu star is now using a walking stick as his mobility appears to have deteriorated[/caption] Eagle-eyed fans flooded Dick with messages of concern[/caption]Dick, 64, hasn’t been seen on television since the beloved Channel 4 series came to an end.
But he and Angel have stayed in touch with their fans through their social media accounts.
In a recent post, they shared their day out on the beach with their children Arthur and Dorothy.
Posting snaps, they wrote: “Hello to you on this terrific Tuesday!
“Rainbows and sunshine! Simple sandy fun at seaside!”
However, eagle-eyed followers were left concerned after noticing Dick is now using a walking stick.
One fan asked: “Hope Dick is OK, see a walking stick being used..an old rugby injury no doubt.”
A second wrote: “Dick you’ve been so busy with your life and wonderful family do take care and look after yourself . Please try to loose skittle weight loved your programs right from start.”
“What’s wrong with Dick,” asked a third.
Dick and Angel will make a sensational return to Channel 4 next month with a brand new show.
Called Dick and Angel’s Secret France, it will follow the couple as they explore the side of the country that tourists often don’t see.
It comes as they were axed from Channel 4 after a leaked recording exposed Angel for calling a producer a ‘c***’ in a foul-mouthed row.
Who are Dick and Angel Strawbridge?
The TV couple shot to fame in 2016 when their series Escape to the Chateau launched on Channel 4.
Running for nine series, it followed Dick and Angel as they renovated their 19th century French mansion.
They have two children together, Arthur and Dorothy, who featured in the show
It quickly became a fan-favourite show of the schedule as millions tuned in to see the couple tackle each corner of their 45-bedroom chateau.
Escape to the Chateau came to a natural end in October 2022 by mutual agreement between Channel 4 and Dick and Angel.
Despite the broadcaster and the pair working together on other projects, they were axed from the channel following a recording leaking appearing to capture Angel in a foul-mouthed exchange with a producer.
