The Valley's Jesse Lally Reveals Exactly When He & Wife Michelle Saniei Lally Split Up

Earlier this year, Jesse and Michelle Saniei Lally revealed they were separated right before the premiere of their new show.

The estranged couple are currently cast members on Bravo‘s new Vanderpup Rules spinoff series The Valley, and their marriage troubles have been playing out throughout the show’s debut season.

At the series premiere in LA in March, they confirmed they had split up, and while making an appearance on Watch What Happens Live on Tuesday (May 21), Jesse opened up about when the split and shared more details about their breakup.

Host Andy Cohen asked how soon after wrapping filming they broke up, and Jesse said, “Literally two days after our five year anniversary, mid-October. We went to Montecito and got back, and had the conversation, that was that.”

In another part of the episode, Jesse shared how he felt their marriage was going into filming.

“I thought it was amazing. We had just moved into a new house, you know, our business was incredible and then all of a sudden…” he said.

Andy also asked what the most jaw-dropping thing he’s seen Michelle say behind his back about their marriage.

“The amount of times that she said that she was kind of done and checked out, and had moved on,” Jesse replied. “There were a few times where I had a few tears in my eyes ’cause I was like, ‘Oh my god, why am I doing all this?’”
