Russell Sage establishes forensic psychology major

TROY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Russell Sage College has received approval to start a new forensic psychology degree program in the fall. The program will combine courses in psychology, criminal justice, and law.

Russell Sage opened a new Criminal Investigation Resource Center in February. Students will have the chance to investigate cold cases.

The College of Saint Rose was the only local school to offer a forensic psychology degree. Russell Sage hopes to allow Saint Rose students to continue their studies in the Capital Region.
