Saint Rose hires real estate firm for next steps

ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The College of Saint Rose hired a real estate broker to help the school decide the future of the 81 buildings it owns in Albany's Pine Hills neighborhood. Jones Lang LaSalle, or JLL, is an international commercial real estate company.

The company's vice chairman said the company has led projects at other colleges and universities and will work with local leaders and community members to decide next steps.

The college's board of trustees said they hope to have a plan completed by the end of 2024 but acknowledge it could take longer.
