Police investigating after several vehicles damaged in CT shooting incident

Police are investigating a shooting incident that damaged several vehicles in Norwich on Tuesday.

At 11:36 a.m., dispatch received reports of gunfire on Central Avenue in Norwich, according to the Norwich Police Department.

Police said responding officers located evidence indicating several shots were fired in the area of Central Avenue and Third Street.

According to police, several vehicles were damaged but no injuries were reported.

An initial investigation revealed at least two people were recklessly shooting firearms on the busy street, police said.
