Maxwell Simkins and Barrett Margolis have been cast in ABC's comedy pilot "Shifting Gears," starring Tim Allen and Kat Dennings. The show follows a widowed car shop owner whose estranged daughter and grandchildren move in. The pilot is written by Mike Scully and Julie Thacker Scully and produced by 20th Television.
