The 2024 BCHL Fred Page Cup final is here! Following the release of this year’s slogan (#Keepthecup), the Penticton Vees are issuing a call for contest participants in their “Paint the Town Blue” contest.

The contest is open to all community members and will be separated into two categories.
1. Residential
2. Commercial

WHAT IS THE “PAINT THE TOWN BULE” CONTEST?

The Paint the Town Blue Contest aims to generate excitement as our team heads to the finals for the third consecutive year, hoping to bring the cup home. The primary goal of this contest is to foster a sense of pride and enthusiasm for a potential third Fred Page Cup Final victory. Show your support by decorating your dwelling or business in Vees Blue!

HOW TO GET INVOLVED

Participants are encouraged to decorate, theme, and showcase their dwelling, and business while creatively supporting the Vees. Signs. Banners. Paint. Posters. Balloons. Colour-schemes. Use your creativity to create an attractive and compelling submission.

** Regardless of participation level, all dwellings and businesses are required to display the contest poster**

Please keep in mind that this is a family-friendly contest and keep decorating at an appropriate level

HOW TO REGISTER

Participants MUST register by emailing info@pentictonvees.com with the subject line stating “Paint the town blue”. The email should include photos/videos of the dwelling or business. All participants must include the contest poster in their photos or videos that are sent to the organization.

CONTEST RULES

Contest is open to all Penticton Vees fans
Registration/Participation is FREE, no purchase is necessary
Contest Posters can be downloaded from #keepthecup or pickup from the Valley First box office on Monday, May 20th From 10:00 am – 2:00 pm
Contest poster must be visible in dwellings and businesses this is the indicator of contest participation
The contest begins immediately after the announcement and will conclude at the end BCHL Fred Page Cup Final Series.
Winners will be announced after the conclusion of the final game of the BCHL Fred Page Cup Final Series.
All questions/submissions must be sent to info@pentictonvees.com
Prizes will be awarded to the top candidates in each category, selected by front office staff
Family-oriented contest, stay within guidelines of respectful compliance regarding proper conduct
By agreeing to these rules, you authenticate the posting and distribution via social media/marketing platforms of your decorated dwellings or businesses

By participating, you agree to be fully unconditionally bound by these rules, and you represent and warrant that you meet the eligibility requirements. In addition, you agree to accept the decisions of the Penticton Vees Hockey Club as final and binding as it relate to the content of this Campaign.

WINNER SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION

The winner will be selected by the front office staff of the Penticton Vees Hockey Club.

The winner will be contacted immediately following selection.

The Penticton Vees shall have no liability for the Winner’s failure to receive notices due to spam, junk e-mail, or other security settings or for the Winner’s provision of incorrect or non-functioning contact information.

If Winner cannot be contacted, is ineligible, fails to claim the prize within TWO (2) days from the time award notification was sent, or fails to timely return a completed and executed declaration and release as required, the prize may be forfeited and an alternate winner will be selected.
