A fatal car crash is under investigation in Broadalbin. The Fulton County Sheriff’s Office says the crash involved only one car and the driver. Also, Albany Police responded to Lark Drive and Manning Boulevard late Saturday for reports of a shooting. These stories, and more, are covered in your five things to know.

1. Deputies respond to fatal car crash in Broadalbin

A fatal car crash is under investigation in Broadalbin. The Fulton County Sheriff’s Office says the crash involved only one car and the driver. Deputies have not released the deceased’s name at this time.

2. Albany Police investigating a shooting

The Albany Police Department reports responding to the area of Lark Drive and Manning Boulevard around 11:25 p.m. on Saturday for reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, police say they found a 17-year-old male victim at the basketball courts with gunshot wounds.

3. Newburgh woman arrested in fatal hit-and-run

A Newburgh woman was arrested in connection to a fatal hit-and-run that killed two people in March. Angela Fischl, 25, faces two counts of leaving the scene of an accident that resulted in death.

4. Troy Police investigating a stabbing

Troy Police Detectives report that they are investigating an assault that happened shortly after midnight on Sunday. It occurred at 125 Fourth Street where I Love Pizza is located.

5. Fallen heroes honored at MVP Arena Firebird’s game
