Man dead, another hospitalized after shooting in District Heights
Police in Prince George’s County, Maryland, are investigating a shooting that left one man dead and another man hospitalized.
Officers responded to the 6300 block of Marlboro Pike, near the intersection of Gateway Blvd., in District Heights just before 2 a.m. on Sunday, where they found a man inside of a vehicle suffering from gunshot wounds
He was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the Prince George’s County Police Department.
Officers then found a second man nearby who had been shot. He was transported to a hospital in “stable condition,” police said.
A woman was also hospitalized for non-life-threatening injuries, not related to gunshot wounds.
