‘She Is Pregnant, What If…,’ Asks Zomato Customer After Receiving Non-Veg Thali Instead Of Veg

Zomato customer shares photos of Non-veg thali and screen shot of his order details which included ‘Paneer Butter Thali’ and claimed that he received Non-veg food instead of veg. He also said that his wife is a pregnant lady and asked Zomato, ‘’what if things could have gone wrong?.’’

In his post, it can be seen that there were two different dishes ordered by him, one was ‘Punjabi Tawa Chicken’ & another was , ‘Butter Paneer Thali.’ Where in delivery of the 2nd dish was non-veg instead of veg.

‘Ordered Veg, Got Non-Veg’ Zomato Customer

Tagging Zomato, Mr. Sidharth shared photos of order and non-verg thali he received and wrote ‘’Zomato care to explain why a non veg thali was sent when the order was of paneer thali, how do you expect a vegetarian to eat chicken, care to explain, that also she is a pregnant lady, what if things could have gone wrong?.’’

Zomato Reply On Wrong Order

Zomato replied to Siddharth’s post related to the wrong order and said, ‘’We discussed your recent bumpy experience via call and gave you the best resolution from our end. If you need more help, holla at us! Thank you for being patient throughout.’’

But Sidharth claimed that nothing has been done by the Zomato yet and replied, ‘’The resolution promised has not been fulfilled yet, and neither I have received the promised email, so no, you have not done anything so far.’’

Veg-Non Veg Debate Among Netizens

One user advised Siddhart to order from pure veg restaurant, ‘’That’s bad . We’ve made practice to order pure vegetarian food from a restaurant which only makes 100% pure vegetarian food. SAFER.. atleast there’s no fear that our food will be handled by Non-vegetarian food handlers & fingers.. else there will be such mix ups….’’

But Sidharth said he can’t do it because he can’t order veg-non veg both the dishes from pure Veg restaurant and wrote ,’’That can happen if we want to eat only veg food, but what is going to happen if it’s both mix of veg and non veg then we can’t order from pure veg restaurant right?’’

Another user said Non-veg will not affect her health and said ,’’I don’t think that eating non veg will effect her health that is one part secondly how can Zomato care give u explanation why non was delivered to u, restaurant has to take care of that once the parcel is packed no one is authorised to open the parcel so it was ur bad luck.’’
